  1. The DMC colors are assigned by reading a .DMC file. The default $
  2. file is Master.dmc. A different file can be used by selecting   $
  3. the Load DMC file option on the file menu. Additional DMC files $
  4. can be created by running RGB2DMC (available to registered      $
  5. users). Master.dmc was create in an EGA monitor, and as such as $
  6. only 64 colors. In general, it's not a very good match. The DMC $
  7. colors and name can be changed by selecting VIEW SYMBOLS from   $
  8. the VIEW menu. The symbols used in the image, and the assigned  $
  9. DMC color and name will be displayed. Select DONE (ENTER) when  $
  10. you are done. Select a symbol, and the dmc color number and name$
  11. will appear in the boxes labeled DMC NAME & DMC NUMBER. At this $
  12. point you can edit the name and number. Select SAVE to keep the $
  13. changes, select CANCEL to cancel the changes. Select PRINT to   $
  14. generate a copy of JUST the symbol table and DMC colors. The    $
  15. can be a GIF of the list, or a hard copy.                       $
